About Us

Born and Bottled in Park City, Utah.

Park City Botanicals was created out of love and longing to help, my sister’s daughter, Margot, who was battling cancer and suffering from stress and anxiety. I began to study Phytoncides from the forest and how they have power to heal, nurture, relieve stress and calm nervous systems. Phytoncides are the natural plant compounds trees release to support themselves and support our wellbeing. These invisible forest aerosols are linked to calmer minds, stronger immunity and that unmistakable feeling you get from being in the forest.

For the previous 8 years, I’d been working with a master perfumer in New York developing scents for room mists, candles and diffusers for retail, luxury hotel brands and an award winning distillery. With this experience, I decided, I wanted to create something Margot could put on her body, or in her room, which provided the active forest ingredients to help with stress. Bird (my name for Margot) and I worked together to develop our Forest roll on perfume. I would send multiple formulations to her and see what she liked best. She was very proud of the final result and called it - “Her Perfume” - this gave me a way to connect during this difficult time. Together, we created something very special.

After Margot passed, I decided to spend time in Grasse, France, learning from the world’s best perfumers and the world’s oldest pine distillery in the Dolomites, Italy. I wanted to be able to share a little bit of the special calm we get from nature and thus, Park City Botanicals was born. Thank you for your interest in our little company.

All products give back to Animal Rescue, as Margot always loved to read to the shelter animals. She had 2 rescue pups, Cody and Sam. 🕊️
